Any suggestions for the below error?

Unfortunately I'm on a 3 hour ferry trip and can't access my TSC7 to download data in a differing format...

Note I'm using Trimble Sync Manager (installed with a clean install of TBC 5.80) - I can download earlier TA 2022.01 files ok so presume its something in 2022.10 ...

Hi John,
we used to have similar problem.

in our case TBC failed to recognise “station elevation” that was performed in Access.

Workaround:
If your using Sync Manager (I’d strongly suggest against it) then your job should be visible as “ToDo” in Trimble Connect project of yours on the web.

go to Web Connect and download JXL

use ASCII File Generator to covert JXL to CSV

as an alternative I’d suggest utilising Trimble Connect Sync on your TSC7.

we have custom synch schedules that upload new JOBs only

Hi John
I have had a support case from Sitech NZ regarding this issue and I have escalated it as a bug. It issue seems to be with reading JXLs with a schema version of 6.26, which was introduced in TA 2022.10. It doesn't appear to be a convertor issue as job files from TA 2022.10 are not affected.  As a workaround I would recommend either importing the job file directly or creating a JXL with schema version 6.25. If you want to see what records were added in schema 6.26 here is a link to the schema:
https://ww2.trimble.com/schema/JobXML/6_2/JobXMLSchema-6.26.xsd
The TBC team have marked this bug as critical, so it should be fixed in an upcoming patch.

Hi John,

I ran into the same issue with TA 2022.10 imports to TBC 5.80 while on a trip. Troubleshooting away from the main setup is tricky, I had to use Trimble Connect exports as a workaround. I remember dealing with it during a trip to Spain, and this guide (https://gowithguide.com/blog/tourism-in-spain-statistics-2024-your-in-depth-travel-guide-5686) was useful for the travel side of things. Hopefully, newer TBC updates have resolved the schema issue James mentioned.
