Please help! Had process DJI flight data in a TBC drawing, saved as to a local file on my PC, worked no problem for the last month. Recently started cleaning it up over multiple days. Everything was fine last night when I saved. Opened the vce today and suddenly there are 0 points in the scan and none of the data is appears to be there, classified or not. I will have lost a a good 12 hours of work if this isn't recoverable, any help is much appreciated!!

Thank you,

Katie

Did you try?

Did you move the project around on the hard drive, different location?
Did you import the scan data into the project folder or did you leave it somewhere else? Has something changed at that location?

@Ronny Schneider Sorry, I wrote that wrong in the original post - What I originally did was copy the exported point cloud file (originally exported from tbc) locally to my PC, opened a TBC drawing, imported that point cloud file into my TBC drawing. I do not have it set in my options to save the point cloud file upon import. Everything worked fine over multiple openings and closings of the drawings over the last few days. Saved it last night with only the "Ground" region turned on and some modeled linework, as I usually do. Tried opening it today and it was gone. I tried the "Restore All" that you showed in the image. I haven't tried moving the vce file locations as I was hoping for suggestions and worried to change anything on the original file. I will try moving it and/or copying it.

@Ronny Schneider I tried copying the .vce, ~vce, and the associated folder to a blank folder on my desktop and had one error pop up (see attached image). But the file is there when I go to the file path. (Second image).

The data seems to be stored somewhere in a cloud drive, and if you can't even copy it from there to your desktop then that is most likely the problem with TBC as well. Get the data of that cloud drive to your local machine somehow. Try accessing it via webrowser for instance.

@Ronny Schneider Just copied re-downloaded everything from Google Drive, moved all the files to the correct location/order in a blank folder (Google Drive can only download so many GBs at a time and packages in multiple zipped folders when you download from the web browser), opened the drawing and still nothing unfortunately. That whole folder form the screenshot used to be saved locally on my PC under a 2022 current projects folder, but as Google Drive decided to "clean things up" regarding shorcuts, etc., it moved it strictly to the drive and then made a shortcut on my PC instead. Rather annoying, but nothign I can do about it without copying everything. Figured I would start fresh in 2023 (so far so good - local version backing up to Drive) but this job will carry over though to next year and I wanted to keep everything in the same area, project wise.
