Text White Out not working properly

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the white out function on TBC? I believe it was working on v5.3X but then I recently updated to the latest version and the white out function doesn't work as it used to. It used to be where it would whiteout any linework behind the text to make it legible now it completely whites out the text that I'm actually trying to see.

Edit: I should have mentioned that this happens when I create a plotbox and make a pdf exhibit via print option.

Seems to work fine on my 5.81

Is you Text Colour by any chance light gray, almost white?

@Marian Plucinski the color is set to red as seen on the first image, the problem happens when I use a plotbox to make a pdf exhibit via print option. this used to work fine on the older version that I was using at first I thought it was the pdf viewer that I use but it happens on my work computer and my personal computer, adobe acrobat at work and bluebeam on my personal

So the issue is not with display on TBC but with final plotted PDF?

Sorry mate,

I cannot recreate your problem on TBC 5.81 on my machine.

Both Plot Boxes and Plans Sets with Dynaviews print the white out as expected.

(with plot box actually showing grid lines underneath, weird...)

Try other Text Style / Font / True Type or Stroke Fonts
