Trimble Access 2022 Strange Behavior while Key in coordinates

I was using a TSC5 this past week performing RTK and with R12i Base and rover I had shown up on a job and needed a couple coordinates to get started. My partner had been using a r10 and tsc7 to on vrs network to establish a few points around site. I had set up the base and had it going and met him at another point to help him set up a rtk base survey style. He had never used base and rover before. After getting him set up and fixed solution he was checking into the other network vrs established point. All was well.

I with the TSC5 was fixed standing right beside him and was in key in points menu. I had put in the point name code and was waiting on him to get the point number pulled up to read it to me so I could enter that into my job for a quick blunder check. Before I could enter any numbers in northing and easting and elevation field. They automatically filled in but not correct some numbers from a totally different state or assumed who knows. I cleared them and watched and again this happened. This was 3 times as if someone remotely was keying in coordinates. I have used many data collectors and such over the years and have never seen anything like this. Only thing close was when a specific number on a key pad gets old and sticks and places that same number in a field over and over.

Now this was a loaner and my first few days with a TSC5. Wondered if anyone else has seen this or did i have the only TSC5 with a gremlin in the collector.

Other than that I pushed the r12i beyond its limits.  I was testing its ability in canopy all week. I mean deep in woods. I located over 150 points from property corners to man holes traverse points etc. all were shot at a minimum of twice most 3 to 4 times with different gap in time and day. Also base station moved to different locations. Out of the 150 points i had 4 that exceeded what I required.  Traverse was done as well so I had a good idea of what the value needed to be. Two points were off .25 from the mean horizontal feet. And 0.5 ft vertical. All but a few like those passed the .07 50ppm alta specs on a quick unconstrained LA adjustment and alta report. Now we do have a few more days to finish up and tie conventionally to some. But i was very impressed. And don’t scold me i was just trying to find these corners and man holes (i placed a dot for re observations) so the other crews could traverse he shortest route. I placed control in good areas for them to come off of and such. Just testing the limits. We were in some pretty nasty briars and such and trees so finding anything under that mess was not easy. So i ran ahead and used other sources to get close.

Hi Jeff

Might be a good idea to post this on the Trimble Access Community page, sure someone there will be able to help with your questions. Here is the link: https://community.trimble.com/communities/publiccommunity?CommunityKey=aed48040-ff0f-40aa-9750-a83b700ddf97

The only thing I can think of is that you accidentally tapped in the map. If the cursor is in the Northing or Easting field and you tap in the map it will take the position you tapped on in the map and fill in the fields for you.
