 Why would a Trimble Business Center Network License be Signing Out Multiple Seats to 1 User or Device?

We have been running into an issue the past couple of weeks where a second license seat of Trimble Business Center has been signed out to a single user/device causing others to not be able to login. We currently have 4 license seats, and there have been no changes to the network license for about a year at this point.

From what I understand from our end user, they are opening more than one Business Center Project but never had an issue before where multiple licenses were being consumed. I wasn't able to find any similar information to this issue, so I figured I would throw this post out here prior to reaching out to support to see if this is something anyone else has experienced previously.

Any information that anyone is able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Did you pose this question to the Trimble vendor/distributor you buy Trimble products and licenses from? That's where I would start if I had this problem.

We reached out to the vendor we purchase Trimble products through and are waiting to hear back from him. I just figured I would throw the situation out here a while to see if anyone had run into something similar.

I am thinking that we may have figured the issue out. It seems that it issues a device license for the wired and wireless network adapter on the laptops. I am waiting for confirmation from our end users that this is in fact the case. In that event, we will just have them close out of TBC before disconnecting from their docking stations at their desk to avoid this moving forward.

I also managed to post a duplicate forum post, not sure if anyone would be able to merge the two or delete the duplicate. Thanks for the response.
