Upgrading TSC7 Hardware

Hi,

Our data collectors crash and/or are slow at times; even when the files aren't too large. Is it possible to upgrade the hardware for the collectors? I'd like to upgrade the CPU and RAM. My distributer told me they do not have a way to upgrade it.

No you can't. But how much disk space is left on your C drive in File Explorer when you tap on This PC?

I to have problems with how slow the T7 & TSC7 are in general. The screen reaction times drag and if you hit too many buttons it just locks up. Working with 12 mile interstate jobs large sites really seem to kill it.

Julio - do you have any indication that this is heat related?

You might check if the TSC7 is coming near its upper temperature limit. Laptops are known for "throttling" the CPU down to reduce the temperature. There may be software you can install to investigate this.
