 XML files which were OK to import before are getting error message with new TBC Ver 2024.10 version

Hi, 

I am using another software for preparing XML files and then I am importing to TBC...

All XML files which I was able to import 2024.01 are now can not be imported after I updated to 2024.10 version and getting an error message.

Therefore I installed older version again. I wonder what changed with the new version? Why I can not import same XML files now?

An example XML file is attached here...

Note: Same XML files are also OK to import to AutoCAD Civil3D

Any help is appreciated.

That was a bit of a brain teaser again. I can confirm that the file loads properly into 2024.00 but not into 2024.10. It completely crashes the transaction manager and you have to reload the project.

The importer is missing the LandXML version information in the header. If you add the following, somewhere in that line, it will import. Previous versions are more forgiving.

Since Trimble chooses to ignore all bug reports/description from the forum I've forwarded it to our dealer, so they can open an official ticket and maybe it's going to be addressed next year, if at all.

Potentially they're going to say that your software is at fault by outputting a non-conforming XML header. Just speculating, I'm not that familiar with the XML standard.
