Trimble Business Center

I've got TBC Advanced with all modules.  

I need to create a grid of points on a surface which I can then export as a CSV to use elsewhere.  I've been trying to find a function to create a grid of points on an existing surface but no luck.  Civil3D/Land Desktop and 12D can do it easily so I'd be surprised if TBC cant. 

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Hi Dene,

Try using "Create Surface Elevation Grid" 

Then Explode the grid created,

Select CAD points 

& Export

That surface to grid TML was the go.  Easy to use and does the job.

I could not install this TML. Under Licence head shows "No". Which module is needed for this?

To create and apply Trimble Macro Language, you'll need at minimum Survey Advanced edition.

Try downloading this to make sure that Macro is installed. Then you should just be able to push "F12" then type surface or just look on this list. TMLs should all have a "_TML NAME" 

I tried. No success.

I tried rebooting TBC, still no success.

I see it on your list. Does it just not let you use it? _Surface To Grid?
