We invite you and your students to test your design creativity with the SketchUp Design Sprint Challenge 2025. 

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of SketchUp, we're inviting you to look forward 25 years and imagine the role design will play in improving our lives.

We want participants from all areas of design and architecture to envision the year 2050 and design spaces (interior, exterior, or landscape) that have a positive social impact to address the needs of the future—whether that's bettering the environment, improving the local community, or enabling accessibility.

The first-place winner will receive $5,000 USD, a free one-year Studio subscription, and global promotion of their design.

Submissions are due by June 11th.

The Trimble Business Center 2024.12 patch is ready for you. See the Patch Notes for details about the enhancements and bug fixes it includes. 

You can update to the new version by selecting Support > Check for Updates in the program or by downloading from the TBC Geospatial Downloads page or the Civil Construction Software Downloads page.

Update - 28-Apr-2025: We have added an additional server instance to better manage and balance the load and it is being monitored.

Description: Publishing of VCL files from TBC through WorksManager to field devices is delayed

Scenario: There is a delay when user publishes a VCL design file from TBC to WorksManager. WorksManager displays the design, however it remains in 'In progress' status, and one of these messages appear on hovering - "Oops. There is a delay in sending your designs to the devices. Hang on..." or "Design conversion in progress. Please wait while design files are converted.". The design gets eventually published to field devices after a few minutes, and status changes to 'Success' in WorksManager.

The team is investigating the issue, and we will keep you posted.
