    Just got back from a long vacation. IT had to wipe my computer in order to adhere to latest restrictions. All software now needs to be installed via software deployment center. No manual installation with tweaking via remote session with IT support anymore.

    Plus, VS2019 community edition not available anymore, plus installation not straight forward, lots of tick boxes.

    Developing macros with Ironpython is becoming extremely cumbersome if not impossible.

    Just can't do it in a corporate environment anymore. I'm locked down like Fort Knox here. I'm so far behind on multiple software versions cause its more of a hassle to get IT to get help than it is to update.
