    All,

I am on TBC 5.60, While modeling in Tbc I have lost all cad grips completely. I don't know what I am doing to cause this, it's beginning to be an issue, today I have been on TBC for about 5Hrs and I have had to restart the program 3 times to get the cad grips to come back. see attached screen shot below.

You're using a near 5 year old version. That's been improved/fixed over the years.

Also, there had been issues with snapping in that version (https://community.trimble.com/communities/community-homepage/digestviewer/viewthread?MessageKey=81806d42-d62e-4bd4-8ade-a7aa238a921e&CommunityKey=d961b046-1661-40f3-8d7e-0bde6866a14d#bm81806d42-d62e-4bd4-8ade-a7aa238a921e)

Although there isn't a lot of improvement and bug-fixing happening to TBC, occasionally, every few years, updating to a relative new version can be slightly beneficial. Updating to the latest brand new release is often not advisable, only after a few month, if there haven't been too many problem reports on the forum. Often the previous patch version is your better bet.

You can keep the older version with the procedure shown here https://community.trimble.com/question/tbc-v202310-install-multiple-versions

Haven't been able to reproduce it with my test dataset yet.

Just as double check, the line shown in your screen shot stopped showing grips and will show grips after a TBC restart?

It's not that the line vertices have been changed to point based, because those don't show grips.

The line is a simple poly-linestring, no smoothed segments. With the later one I get weird results depending on which segment (start or end of the line) I click, including no grips showing, even in older TBC versions.

You lose grips for each and every line in the project?

When you lost the grips, what happens if you open another plan view window (without TBC restart), do the grips show in that one?

After losing them, what happens if you go to options and disable/enable grips or the number of adjacent segments?
