Topsoil Strip uppermost stratum - Error

I added info from Bore holes and created my stratas.
Now I'm defining topsoil strips in ''Define Topsoil Stripping Areas'.
I'm picking up 'Strip uppermost stratum' but then TBC generates me a surface being 100m deep. Please see attached screenshot.
Any idea why?? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
Areas defined by thickness seem to work fine.

Been an issue for 1.5 years. Why it hasn't been fixed, who knows... Remove the boundary, re add the topsoil boundary.Double check the numbers after running the takeoff report. Ran in this issue every time i do strata.

Yes, I get this all the time - have passed it on via dealer, and posted about it here, but years later it has just become a ridiculous part of the usual workflow.  There doesn't seem to be any intention to fix it either unfortunately, given how long this has been an issue.  Pretty much anytime you use the "rebuild surfaces" command, you will need to then go back and remove and re-apply the outer topsoil strip boundary.  Always pull a section through the surfaces before running any reports, just to be sure.

Hi Stevie,  Dan Hamilton is now a PM for TBC so this workflow will hopefully get some new focus.  Thanks for the section tip. Daniel is on Linkedin if you aren't already connected.
