  • TBC Version 5.90 Now Avaliable!

Hello TBC users! We are pleased to announce that Trimble Business Center (TBC) version 5.90 is now available for download.

TBC version 5.90 emphasizes features and functionality that automate tasks, simplify data processing and better connect actionable information to project team members, stakeholders and communities.

Some exciting features and highlights are listed here and in the Release Notes:

Mobile mapping batch processing—Long pre-processing operations like scan generation, classification and colorization can be performed more efficiently in overnight sessions.

Simplified point cloud stockpile extraction—Automatically generate stockpile boundaries and calculate volumes without manual interaction.

Point cloud classification and feature extraction—With the implementation of deep learning capabilities, point cloud classifications are of higher quality and feature extraction has higher accuracy.

Multi-code point feature specifications—Selectively or automatically assign feature codes during point extraction, allowing flexibility to assign appropriate feature codes to varying extracted features when necessary.

Expanded extraction support—Automatically extract manhole diameters and extract multiple road markings of the same type within an area of interest, increasing speed.

Streamline GIS Interoperability—Exchange survey data with ESRI Feature Service or postgres database.

Expanded third-party UAS support and higher-quality deliverables—Support any type of drone with the expanded sensor library in addition to access to tools that eliminate bright spots, enhance geometry in shadow areas and more.

Improved power, process and speed—Existing workflows across cadastral, mobile mapping and takeoff/mass-haul while building on industry-standard CAD imports and tailored routines for Trimble and third-party field data formats have improved.

You can download v5.90 here, from the Civil Construction Software Downloads page, or using TBC's “Check for Updates" command within the software.
